I bought a three thousand dollar professional gas range from Caplan's in December 2011.
January 1st 2012 two of the main burners stopped working and won't light.
When I went back to Caplan's, their customer service representative first rudely told me I did not buy it at their store because she couldn't find me in the system.
When I produced the receipt, she glanced at it and told me they won't take it back, that they don't do returns on faulty kitchen appliances.
It is unacceptable that a professional gas range purchased a moth ago has two burners that don't work/are faulty and Caplan's thinks that it's not their problem. If they sell lemons they should exchange them for a model that actually works.
